Mark began his career as an information technologist after his graduation from Northern Illinois University.  As his career progressed, he was employed with local, national and global IT firms with responsibilities for business development, recruiting and major account management.  These activities included data center hosting, enterprise software integration, IT contract staffing and executive and professional placement services in addition to other emerging technology offerings.

 

In 2009, Mark leveraged his experience and founded the business that has since become ITStaff.  His vision consisted of taking the good and valuable aspects of technology services learned over his career and establishing a sales-driven IT staffing firm built on a customer service-centric service model providing both clients and professional staff alike with focused interactions based upon trust and business integrity.  ITStaff continues to attract clients and consultants who desire to work with a technology service provide that delivers on the staffing promise.

 

In 2018, Mark saw an opportunity to serve a specialty niche in the executive and professional recruitment space and launched the boutique headhunting search firm Data Science & Analytics Search Associates (DSA Search). The agency provides expert sourcing and recruiting of IT executives and professionals with skills in the data science and data analytics marketplace.

 

Mr. Norris moved to Milwaukee, WI upon graduating from NIU in DeKalb, IL.  He’s married with two daughters. When he’s not attending to business, you will likely find him spending time with his family, reading non-fiction and staying abreast of world events or delving into genealogy research.
